Hi, I’m Vaiva, originally from Lithuania, currently studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Leeds. For the past year, I have been on an industry year as a Campaigns Coordinator at the Leeds International Piano Competition. My main motivation for doing a placement was to discover myself try out a field I was interested in working as a graduate.

Melda Kelemcisoy is a postgraduate student at Newcastle University, studying MSc International Business Management. She completed her undergraduate degree in Politics and Sociology at Durham University. In her free time, she enjoys reading classic literature and political philosophy, advocating for animal rights, and cooking delicious plant-based meals.

Carolina is head of the Education at the British Council since 2012. Before that she managed the Science and Society Team for nearly 10 years and worked in stock market and manufacturing.
