Lucy Hendry, Global Recruitment Officer, Oxford Brookes University , Lucy Hendry is a Global Recruitment Officer at Oxford Brookes University with a background in modern languages (BA hons French and Italian, University of Exeter). Lucy has worked in the international education sector for over 7 years, including teaching in Italy, work in the English language sector, international admissions and recruitment. She has been working in the global recruitment team at Oxford Brookes since 2018, taking responsibility for Europe and Turkey.
Kathy Angelopoulou, Deputy Coordinator in the IB Diploma Programme at CGS , Serving as Deputy Coordinator in the IB Diploma Programme for the past 12 years at CGS, one of Greece’s oldest and most prestigious independent schools, my work encompasses collaborating with the world’s leading universities, institutes and research centers and developing diverse educational projects and outreach activities. With extensive experience in preparing our students’ UK university applications and a comprehensive knowledge of the UK university landscape, I have had the pleasure to write hundreds of reference letters and helped teachers in writing their own, successfully supporting our students in their admission to a UK university. I have also worked at the Canadian Embassy in Athens as Academic Affairs Officer and as Head of Educational Services at the International Organization for Migration in Greece. For more than 30 years, I have collaborated with people from diverse backgrounds in education, diplomacy and humanitarian services.
