Scholarships and grants

We have a great scholarships programme at Newcastle for EU students, details of which can be found here https://belong.ncl.ac.uk/eu-ugpg-scholarship-lp including automatic scholarships (Vice Chancellors EU Scholarships) where we essentially discount the international fee by up to 70% to bring the tuition fee in line with home student fees. No application necessary as they are automatically awarded once we make students a conditional offer. They are for UG and PG taught programmes, including MRes courses.

We also offer a number of merit based scholarships (Vice Chancellors Excellence Scholarships) at both UG and PG level which students can apply for and these represent an additional £6,000 off the cost of tuition fees, on top of the automatic award mentioned above. Students must apply by May 2022.

And finally we have x2 100% scholarships for students in the Business School (Vice Chancellors EU Business Excellence scholarships) – one at undergraduate level and one at postgraduate level. For students looking to study on a programme in our Business School.

All scholarships are awarded for every year of study. Eligibility details included in the link.
