University of Hull

The University of Hull is the 14th oldest university in England. We have a proud history of academic excellence and creating and inspiring life-changing research, all in a friendly student city. 97.9% of our international students go into work or further study within six months of graduating (HESA 2018) and we earned a silver award in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF 2018) which recognises excellence in teaching and learning in UK universities. We’re a top 50 university for research power (REF 2014).
We have invested £300 million on new facilities including a world-class library, 400-seater concert hall and industry standard recording equipment, student accommodation and new sports facilities.

Everything needed to live and study – including accommodation and student support services – is on one campus. Our student union hosts over 85 societies and sports clubs and we are the only university to be an Official Partner of Team GB.

Engineering is one of the more difficult areas of study and requires hard work and commitment. You will need to be skilled in Maths and Physics, two subjects essential to further developing your engineering skills. As with many other subjects, some of the top universities worldwide for Electrical and Electronic Engineering are in the UK. The production and distribution of electricity is a highly specialised skill that requires thousands of talented graduates each year. Find out more about the options available to Engineering students at this webinar.
